A WORD FROM COACH:

“I want our coaches to ask our players and our players to ask themselves, “How good do you want to be?”.

A great player with the desire and drive, WORKS to be what they want to become. A great coach can see what they can become. The magic is when a player with the desire to be great, pairs with a coach that sees their potential.”

Our goal is to have a coaching staff that cares for each player and their safety. Each 706 coach is required to complete a background check and abuse training course once a year.

From the USA Baseball website, “The BASE Certification was created to help assist organizations in prioritizing athlete safety. USA Baseball launched the BASE program (Baseball Athlete Safety Education) as its zero-tolerance campaign for any type of abuse within the sport of baseball.”

What's in a name?

706.  This is more than our baseball team. This is our community.

When you see a phone number with the same area code as yours, you feel a bit closer. You know you’re a part of the same neighborhood. Maybe you go to the same church, shop at the same stores, send our kids to the same schools, know some of the same people. It’s a small thing, but it gives us a big sense of connection. Those connections are what make life meaningful and purposeful to keep us grounded and humble. Your phone number is unique, but the first three digits remind us that we’re in this together. 706 Baseball Club is a local baseball team that seeks to enrich the community.
